Numina MCP: AI bookkeeping and accounting with Claude and ChatGPT
Bring your own AI to your books. The Numina MCP server connects Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or any other MCP client to your accounting ledger, so your AI can answer questions about your numbers and do the bookkeeping.

Numina is a Danish accounting system: ledger, bank reconciliation, invoicing, VAT returns and reports, approved by the Danish Business Authority (Erhvervsstyrelsen). The Numina MCP server opens that ledger to the AI assistant you already use:
- Ask anything about your numbers. "What did we spend on software this year?", "Which invoices are overdue?", "Show the trial balance for Q3." - Let it do the work. Draft expenses, match bank lines, create contacts and upload receipts. - Stay in control. Your AI only writes drafts. Nothing is booked until you approve it in Numina, and every change shows who made it and why.
MCP (Model Context Protocol) is the open standard AI assistants use to connect to other services, so the same server works with Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and others.
This repo has the setup steps, a reference of the tools, and skills: step-by-step instructions your AI follows for a whole job, like booking last month's Pleo expenses.
